Meet Christy

Hello! I’m Christy! I’m a published greater Orlando area photographer specializing in luxury custom portraiture of preteens, women, and children.

A little bit about me
I search for the simple joys in everyday moments. I am a chaser of dreams and beautiful light. I put all my energy, heart and soul into every session. I want to empower women to see themselves the way their family sees them (as amazing and beautiful humans!)

I am a mom of two tiny humans and one sweet pup. A Pittsburgh native who moved to Florida for warm weather and sunshine with no plans to leave. I have a soft spot for shelter dogs and have a heart that’s ready to give.

Three things I love: board games, dirty chai lattes, my children’s silly, non-sensical jokes.

My Journey
When I first picked up a camera in middle school, I didn’t know where it was going to take me. I documented everything I could – photos of friends, snapshots from vacation, and the beauty that surrounded me. When I got my first professional camera many years later, I began to create portraits of my family and friends instead of just snapshots. While completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, I didn’t quite know how much I would fall in love with the beauty of a great portrait. The way someone’s eyes light up when they smile. The scrunched noses and wide mouthed laughs never fail to make me smile. Every wrinkle, scar, and freckle is a story to be told.

It’s been 13 years since I began my journey as a professional photographer and I have been running my business full-time since 2013. My goal is to empower and support women of all ages and to create long-lasting portraits to be shared for generations to come. I love seeing my clients’ faces when they see their photographs for the first time and riding along on the emotional journey with them.
