YOUR WARDROBE AND PLANNING SESSION
Let’s get to know each other! We’ll have a chat, either in person or on the phone to plan your session and work towards answering the question: How will you display your photographs?
We’ll talk about your desires for the session. Are you looking to fill that empty space above the couch? Do you want to document your daughter’s scrunched nose smile and quirky personality before she turns into a teenager?
I’ll help you choose your outfits, select the session location or studio backdrops, discuss image style, and how you want to display your images. We will talk about our ideas for your session and I’ll answer any questions you may have. By the end of the pre-session consultation, we will have a clear picture of the photographs we will create at your session.
YOUR LUXURY PORTRAIT SESSION (ON-LOCATION OR IN STUDIO)
Now for the fun part! Everything has been planned and we can now focus on genuine emotion. We’ll combine prompted and posed shots to create the photographs we imagined in the pre-session consultation. Is your child high-energy? Let’s capture it with a jumping photo! In my years of experience working with kids, I know that sometimes energy just needs to be released. We can find a unique way to use that energy and create imagery that shows your child’s wild personality. If your child is shy, a snuggly family image will be a great compliment to their quiet energy.
Studio sessions are great for any time of day (and especially in the hot Florida summers). The studio is simply styled and a variety of stylized backdrops or we can use beautiful colored background for a modern studio look. Sessions at any of Central Florida’s scenic locations make for beautiful and unique images, especially if the location has special meaning for you. On-location portraits are best in the first few hours after sunrise and the last one and a half to two hours before sunset.
YOUR REVEAL & ORDERING APPOINTMENT
Finally, here is the moment you’ve been waiting for! The Reveal and Ordering Appointment is where you get to see your images for the first time and design artwork for your home. I will help you sort through your images and make final decisions on what will look best with your décor. We can create albums, wall art, or even a wall gallery with your favorite images. You will finalize your portrait order at this time, so please be sure to choose a time when all decision makers are available.
